In every society the following relationship has held true: as government grows, human freedom and happiness shrink. Or as Dennis Prager puts it: "The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen."

Big government is the enemy of Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness. 

No one gives up "emergency powers" willingly. Please, think about this and learn from history.
