Wilfred M. McClay is an American academic currently on the faculty of Hillsdale College. He is the Victor Davis Hanson Chair in Classical History and Western Civilization. He received his Ph.D. in History from Johns Hopkins University and B.A. cum laude from St. John’s College (Annapolis, Maryland).
