UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz is the CEO of Punishment Athletics MMA equipment and clothing line. He also owns an MMA training gym called Punishment Training Center in his hometown of Huntington Beach, California. Ortiz overcame a difficult childhood, with both of his parents addicted to drugs who then divorced when he was thirteen. He began wrestling in high school and excelled at the sport. After high school, however, he had to work to support himself and developed his own drug addiction. He had a wake-up call after running into his former coach who encouraged him to enroll in college and start wrestling again. In 2000, he became the UFC champ and on July 7, 2012, he became the ninth inductee into the UFC Hall of Fame. Ortiz has three young sons.
