Email Marketing Manager

PragerU, a high-growth nonprofit with conservative values is looking for a full-time, in-house Email Marketing Manager to join the marketing team and oversee all email marketing efforts for the organization.  

Summary

The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to oversee, implement and execute PragerU’s email marketing strategy.  

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Manage large scale email marketing campaigns from development to execution

• Responsible for creating and managing the email marketing calendar

• Establish targeting strategies and list segmentation based on performance data for each campaign

• Develop and implement prospecting plans to drive list growth, reporting on success including cost to acquire new subscribers

• Responsible for compiling, analyzing and leveraging performance data to both identify optimization for current email strategy and develop new opportunities for growth

• Provide detailed analytics to CMO reporting on campaign data

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in technical email marketing

• 3+ years experience in email marketing management for large lists

• Strong understanding of consumer segmentation and testing strategies

• Experience working with creative teams, graphic designers and copywriters

• Extensive experience with MailChimp

• Experience experience with segmenting data in Excel

• Understanding of email marketing best practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for PragerU's mission to further our cause and familiarity with the concepts espoused in our digital content

• Commitment to excellence in all endeavors

• Must be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks with limited supervision

• Experience working effectively with a variety of personalities
