Archaeology Proves the Crucifixion of Jesus
Oct 6, 2026
For centuries, there was no archaeological evidence for Caiaphas, the high priest who played a central role in the trial of Jesus. Dinesh D’Souza points to the discovery near Jerusalem of an ornate first-century ossuary inscribed with the name “Joseph son of Caiaphas.” Based on the name, location, and dating, Dinesh argues that the discovery provides remarkable archaeological evidence connected to one of the most important figures in the biblical account of Jesus’ crucifixion. If archaeology can corroborate one of the central figures in the story of Jesus’ crucifixion, what does that mean for the historical reliability of the biblical account?
