Has Archaeology Ever Disproved the Bible? Dinesh D'Souza Answers
Can archaeology prove the Bible is true — or at least prove that the Bible is rooted in real history?
In this episode of Theological, Shabbos Kestenbaum sits down with Dinesh D’Souza to discuss his book The Stones Cry Out and the biggest questions in biblical archaeology: the historicity of the Bible, the Exodus, the Temple, King David, Pontius Pilate, Caiaphas, Jesus’ crucifixion, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Ark of the Covenant, Noah’s Ark, and whether archaeology has ever contradicted the Bible.
Dinesh argues that archaeology does not prove the theology of the Bible and cannot directly prove miracles — but it can test the Bible’s historical claims. His case is that when the Bible names real people, places, rulers, roads, tombs, battles, and inscriptions, archaeology repeatedly confirms those details.
