Robert Orrison
Public historian, author, and co-founder of Emerging Revolutionary War
Robert Orrison is an American public historian, author, and co-founder of Emerging Revolutionary War. He has worked in the public-history field for more than 25 years and serves as Division Manager of the Prince William County Office of Historic Preservation in Virginia. Orrison holds degrees in historic preservation from Longwood University and public history from George Mason University. He has written and co-authored several books on the American Revolution and Civil War, including A Single Blow, A Want of Vigilance, and The Last Road North.
