
Walter Williams
Economist and Author
Dr. Walter E. Williams (1936-2020) held M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from UCLA and was an eminent scholar at George Mason University’s department of economics. He was the author of over 150 publications that have appeared in scholarly journals and popular publications, such as Newsweek, National Review, Reader’s Digest, and Policy Review. He had also substituted as host for The Rush Limbaugh show. Dr. Williams wrote a nationally syndicated weekly column and authored 10 books, most recently Race and Economics: How Much Can Be Blamed on Discrimination?
