Dr. Walter E. Williams holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from UCLA and is an Eminent Scholar at George Mason University's Department of Economics. He is the author of over 150 publications that have appeared in scholarly journals and popular publications such as Newsweek, National Review, Reader's Digest, and Policy Review. He has also substituted as host for the "Rush Limbaugh" show. Dr. Williams writes a nationally syndicated weekly column and has authored ten books, most recently Race and Economics: How Much Can Be Blamed on Discrimination?
