The 14th Amendment Was Meant for Freed Slaves

Dennis Prager says granting citizenship to freed slaves has nothing to do with granting citizenship to people who enter the country illegally. When you twist the meaning of a law to accommodate feelings and avoid offending anyone, you do not expand justice, you significantly undermine it. He says that birthright citizenship for anyone born on American soil regardless of circumstance is a catastrophic decision whose consequences will outlast every politician who created it.
