Colonel Ty Seidule is Professor Emeritus of History at the United States Military Academy (West Point). He served in the U.S. Army for over three decades, retiring in 2020 as a brigadier general. During his service, he was stationed in the U.S., Germany, Italy, the Balkans, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
Seidule is co‑editor of The West Point History of Warfare and The West Point History of the Civil War. He also co‑edited the West Point History of World War II, among other major volumes in the West Point History series. His work includes both scholarly publications and interactive digital history resources used at West Point and beyond.
