James Damore

Former Google Engineer

James Damore is a former software engineer at Google who is known for writing the internal memo titled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber” that went viral in mid-2017. James attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2007-2010, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in molecular biology, physics, and chemistry. He was employed as a software engineer at Google from December 2013 to August 2017.
