
Patrick Moore
Environmental Policy Expert
Patrick Moore, Ph.D. (Ecology, University of British Columbia, 1974), is a co‑founder of Greenpeace and served as its president in Canada and a director internationally. He is Chairman of Ecology, Energy and Prosperity at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. He has written books such as Trees Are the Answer and Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout: The Making of a Sensible Environmentalist. He also co‑founded and chairs Allow Golden Rice Now, advocating for Golden Rice to address vitamin A deficiency. Moore works as an environmental consultant (through organizations like Ecosense Environmental, Greenspirit Strategies), and in 2014 received the “Speaks Truth to Power Award” at the Ninth International Conference on Climate Change.
