Before her appointment, Dhillon founded both the Dhillon Law Group and the Center for American Liberty, where she brought landmark cases challenging restrictions on speech at the University of California, Berkeley, representing victims of Antifa violence, opposing government overreach during COVID, and holding Big Tech accountable for censorship and civil rights violations. Born in Chandigarh, India, and raised in North Carolina, she earned her BA from Dartmouth College and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
