The crucifixion and death of Jesus are events of high drama, involving the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, the high priest Caiaphas, and of course the accused man himself.  Pilate and Caiaphas have inhabited the pages of the Bible, but without reliable historical attestation outside the Bible.  Can archaeology prove they were real, and also  confirm the site of Jesus’ crucifixion around 32 A.D.?
