When James Polk was president, a young congressman by the name of Abraham Lincoln attacked him for starting the Mexican-American War. Under Polk’s leadership, the United States acquired half a million square miles of land, which today includes all of Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. In this wild and fun game show (based on PragerU Kids magazines), our contestants are quizzed on how President Polk transformed America into a major world power.
