David Blumberg
Founder and Managing Partner of Blumberg Capital
David Blumberg is the founder and managing partner of Blumberg Capital, the early-stage venture capital firm he started in 1991. For more than three decades, he has backed what he calls “great people addressing big problems with innovative solutions,” helping founders in the United States and Israel turn bold ideas into lasting companies. Before starting his own firm, David managed international investments at the Bronfman Family Office (Claridge), Adler & Co. Venture Capital, Apax Partners, and T. Rowe Price. He was also one of the first four senior executives at Check Point Software Technologies, where he led business development. Today he is a board member or observer at Flex Storage, Jassby, Kloudfuse, Konfyd, Mytaverse, and Trulioo, and he gives back as an advisor to StartOut, a nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. Raised in Fresno, California, David earned an A.B. in Government, cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and INSEAD. He speaks French and is proficient in Hebrew and Spanish. A proud Democrat through college, he now falls on the spectrum between conservative and libertarian. David serves as the Chairman of the Board of PragerU.
