In this lesson for students in grades six and up, students will explore the rights and responsibilities that come with American citizenship—from our God-given rights to freedom of speech, religion, assembly, and the right to bear arms to the responsibilities of serving on a jury and paying taxes. Students will also examine how the Pledge of Allegiance expresses our commitment to our country.
