Director, Development Operations (Los Angeles)

Since its inception, PragerU has grown aggressively—and expanded its operations and fundraising efforts significantly year after year. This new position (Los Angeles-based) offers the opportunity for big-picture strategic planning and the responsibility of shoring up that remarkable success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate, optimize and manage our donor club levels by looking at current fundraising efforts, identifying any gaps and areas of opportunity, and working with the team to execute such
Establish and monitor department metrics; maintain short-term fundraising goals in light of long-term planning
Manage staff members as needed to model the values and culture of the organization to the entire team
Implement best practices, policies, and procedures; identify and implement new systems and operations to scale operations.
7-10+ years professional experience
Demonstrated ability to build and grow fundraising team operations
Some direct fundraising experience with successful donor cultivation and solicitation and/or demonstrated knowledge of major gifts stewardship strategies and practices
Interpersonal skills to engage, collaborate, and persuade others
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to test and deploy new techniques
Analytical and systematic approach
Confidential manner concerning sensitive information and documentation
Database/CRM proficiency, Raiser’s Edge experience preferred
Ability to travel occasionally
