Animator/Illustrator (Los Angeles or remote)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Animator/Illustrator to join our growing team and expanding PragerU Kids program. PragerU Kids shows, books, and magazines promote pro-American values and provide millions of families the content they need to help their children grow into free and happy citizens who love and strengthen America.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Animate, illustrate, and design work for a wide variety of projects, including animated kids shows, books, and magazines
Create sketches, storyboards, moodboards, and wireframes to visualize ideas
Rig and animate using puppets in Adobe Character Animator or Adobe Animate
Handle many projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Read and understand creative direction
Conform to standardized workflow and best practices
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Strong graphic design, motion graphic, and/or 3D animation portfolio
3+ years experience in Graphic Design, Animation, and/or Motion Graphics
Fluency with Adobe CC suite of products, including After Effects, Photoshop, Character Animator, and Illustrator
Ability to work under pressure without compromising performance or accuracy
Work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment and/or independently with minimal supervision, while able to follow direction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines
Manage time effectively, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully, quality control is key
High attention to detail and accuracy
