Ambassador Yechiel Leiter

Yechiel Leiter is an Israeli diplomat, historian, and policy analyst who became Israel’s Ambassador to the United States in 2025. He has served as chief of staff to Benjamin Netanyahu, advisor to Ariel Sharon, and deputy director-general of the Education Ministry. A scholar of political philosophy, he has written extensively on the Hebrew Bible’s influence on Western thought.
