Rabbi Meir Soloveichik is a rabbi, author, and scholar known for his work on Jewish thought, religious liberty, and the moral foundations of Western civilization. He serves as rabbi of Congregation Shearith Israel, is a senior fellow and contributor at Tikvah Ideas, and directs the Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought at Yeshiva University. Much of his scholarship explores the American Founding and the unique role of religion in the United States. He has written extensively for publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Commentary, and hosts the podcasts Bible 365 and Poetry and Prayer.
