Nancy Mace

Nancy Ruth Mace is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 1st congressional district since 2021.
She made history in 1999 as the first woman to graduate from The Citadel and was elected to Congress in 2020 as South Carolina’s first Republican woman to serve in the U.S. House. Mace previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives and has focused her congressional work on government oversight, national security, veterans, cybersecurity, immigration, and women’s issues. She currently serves on the House Armed Services, Oversight and Government Reform, and Veterans’ Affairs committees.
