Deputy State Secretary of Hungary Márton Ugrósdy

Márton Ugrósdy is a Hungarian political scientist, foreign-policy analyst, and government official. He currently serves as Deputy State Secretary and heads the Office of the Prime Minister’s Political Director in Hungary’s Cabinet Office. Before joining the government in 2022, he served as director of Hungary’s Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2018 to 2022, focusing on transatlantic relations, energy security, U.S. foreign policy, and Central European affairs. Ugrósdy has also taught at Corvinus University of Budapest and holds a political science degree from Eötvös Loránd University and a PhD from Corvinus University.
