Ayman Abu Suboh
Entrepreneur and Media Producer
Ayman Abu Suboh, born in 1978 in Khan Yunis, Gaza, was the middle of five children in a Palestinian refugee family with roots in Jaffa. His childhood was marked by hardship and exposure to violence, shaped by his father’s affiliation with Hamas, which deeply affected his early life and worldview
As he grew up, Ayman endured a "horrific childhood" and even experienced imprisonment in a Palestinian jail, a period that triggered profound personal reevaluation. Breaking from the expectations of his upbringing, he managed to escape from Gaza to Israel—a journey that would transform his life in unexpected ways.
In Israel, Abu Suboh embraced Judaism, converting and adopting the name Dor Shachar. He now lives in Rishon LeZion, Israel, where he shares his extraordinary journey of escape, faith, and transformation
