Amir Fakhravar

Amir Fakhravar is an Iranian political dissident, author, and activist known for his opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Born in Iran, he became involved in pro-democracy activism and was imprisoned by Iranian authorities before leaving the country. He later continued his political advocacy from abroad, speaking and writing about democracy, human rights, and political change in Iran. He is also the author of Forbidden Freedom, a memoir describing his experiences with political repression and imprisonment in Iran.
